I need help with this workout plan!?
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/hitworkout.htm
I found it here. For those who are too lazy to read it, its
1 set barbell squats
1 set leg extensions
1 set lying leg curls
1 set dumbell pullovers
1 set military press
1 set seated cable rows
1 set barbell bench press
1 set barbell bicep curls
1 set seated tricep press
1 set pullups
1 set bench dips
1 set standing calf raises
1 set crunches.
I was wondering about this. The website says to do each set to failure (i.e., physically incapable of doing one more rep after about 8-10 reps), and to do one set of 4-6 warm up reps. It would be done 3x a week.
Any thoughts? I was wondering about the whole "1 set" thing, seeing as that might not be sufficient for a good workout. I'm 17 (just added info). I've been doing a more specialized workout program for a year, and I haven't really put on any mass, so it might be time for a change.
Let me know what you think.
Full Body Workout. Your basically just maxing out on each routine with a heavy weight. Lift heavier each week.
